Administrative discussion: Rules, Policy, Another Code Recollection
First, I'd like to thank you guys for your continued commitment to this Wiki.
I'd like to once again apologize to Skorch for taking harsh action on their speculation on the Wiki. It was a rushed judgement; I was very frustrated at it, and while I had my own reasons, I failed to express them and I even assumed bad intentions. These were all poor practices on my part, considering we lack any regulations and standards written down.
Going forward, I am now implementing some simple, blanket temporary rules of behavior until I can put something more coherent. These will be taken from this site and slightly edited. However, regarding Policy and Style, I'd like to begin by suggesting the following:
From now on, speculation should be removed from wiki ar…
Notes
...Eventually, the manuscript was found by Summer's assistant, Dan. Finding out the secret behind the novel, Dan blackmailed Summer into returning him the manuscript in exchange of money, the location for the transaction being chosen by the novelist: Hotel Dusk.

Playground Test: Novel, Ch. 2
Chapter 2 Unwelcome Attention Los Angeles December 19th, 1980 8:00 AM As the morning sunlight filtered in through the window, the alarm clock by Hyde's bed let out a deafening wail. Hyde turned over. *Go away. Let me sleep some more.* But the alarm clock wasn't listening. He blearily lifted his head off the pillow. *I don't have to get up for work any more. Stop bugging me.* Nothing. He reached out and smacked the alarm clock, stopping the noise. Dropping his head back on to his pillow, sleep threatened to wash over him again. But his slumber was interrupted once more, this time by the phone ringing, yelling for attention. *This isn't even funny.* Hyde fumbled for the receiver. "Hello?" When he heard the voice at the other end, he thou…
Playground Test: Infobox Themes
Watching the Guilty Gear Wiki one day, I often found myself amazed at how they did use custom fonts for character names. Not only that, Ace Attorney Wiki also includes infoboxes with themes for each game in particular, adding a custom feel to it all.The key to it all consists in custom fonts, and CSS combined with HTML tags. It looks like a chore at first glance, however, by keeping a keen eye, interpreting context behind several functions and what they do, and looking up stuff that seem unclear to you, or looking into achieving some kind of effect, is key to understanding the nitty gritty of it.
To submit a custom font, it must be in the WOFF format for it to work. It is possible that WOFF2 works too, however, my attempts were rejected. Ev…
New scripts I've added
I have added new scripts that enhance the user experience at MediaWiki:ImportJS. These enhance our experience and allows to moderate in detail. Of course, this area is off-limits due to its site-wide power.
There are new tools added to the small sidebar on the bottom right of the page. My Tools will feature new stuff that lets one do wider changes.
While other changes are more subtle, other are more for aesthetic.
Special pages have been added with this change, such as: Special:DiscussionsActivity. Despite it looking like it does not work, give it some time. It will load and show the most recent discussions. Similar page has been done in Special:DiscussionsFeed.
You can now also link to a specific part of the page by clicking on the small lock i…
Playground Test: Experimenting WebP and APNG usage.
Images will be used via internal links ([1]). This will ensure that they will work by default in the wiki. Next, at the end of the link, ensure that "&format=original" is present in order for the file to normally animate.
Results: For now, I cannot say how to resize these pictures... But they are fully working. Must find out how to write stuff under them. APNG proves to outshine WebP, and WebP seems to become just like GIF and starts tampering with the edges of the sprite.
Thoguhts on creating helpful notes on infoboxes
Hello to everyone.
This is my first post to add a bit of personal thoughts into a more reserved space than plaguing up Discussions. Whoever wants to read, will read.
I have been thinking of adding some notes that appear next to a characteristic when you hover the mouse on a
In this case, hovering the mouse over the question mark will put in additional helpful info and cut down on long text.
But this only works so far as it can link to some place. I need to think of something better for now, most probably Templates.
I am also thinking of adding links that would add context with Wikipedia pages.
Always keep watching.
Another Code: R - White Music Player Sources
Does anyone know what song corresponds to what name for the White Music player tracklist for Another Code: R?
The source I got the list from (SittingOnClouds.net) has suspect links that don't seem to give me the download for the files. They do have a YouTube channel and Twitter where game music is posted, so the website seems legitimate, but I'm still wary of viruses and I don't know if I'd recommend people try to download the Another Code: R music from there. I found two other websites that have the files, but they don't have the right names, and there doesn't seem to be a complete upload of the soundtrack with labels on YouTube.
I'll try to add links and audio files for the music lists where I can, but I don't have information for all of them…
