Cing Wiki aims to have articles written in complete detail, so there will inevitably be spoilers even in places that one may not expect, particularly for "in-universe" content. Addressing such spoilers can vary in difficulty depending on the situation, with media and names being the most difficult to address.
Best practices[]
Text[]
When it comes to text spoilers, a line must be reasonably placed somewhere in order to warn the reader about incoming spoilers, else we are taking from them the ability to choose when to get informed about events they'd rather know at their own accord. As such, we should use Template:Spoilers to indicate when the spoiler starts, and Template:Spoiler_end to indicate the reader that they can continue reading or viewing from there. They are not yet distinctively visible on mobile, but nevertheless they are present.
It can be hard to know when to put a spoiler warning, therefore, it's best considered to put the warning for content that goes beyond the first chapter of the game. When it comes to locations and items, it's okay to not put a spoiler until the purpose of a location or item is shared. If the items or areas are secrets, then they are spoilers by default.
When it comes to quotes, one can be often tempted to put an end chapter quote due to how emotional and meaningful it can be. However, quotes ideally should not spoil directly or indirectly anything from late game content, the only exception being that said character is a spoiler by themselves. Moreover, an ideal quote should be something memorable about the character, or provides a meaningful insight into their personality. You'd just read it, and think "Yeah, now I know how this character thinks / what to expect of them." Granted, as we handle text-heavy games, such quotes can be hard to find, but not impossible at all.
